Small Oxhorn Quaich with Pewter Handles (Abbeyhorn)
This attractive pewter rimmed oxhorn quaich has a rich heritage in Scotland. This traditional Scottish drinking vessel was used to offer a guest a cup of welcome and also as a farewell drink, usually a dram of whisky. Travellers were know to carry a quaich with them. Each individual quaich is hand crafted and is completely unique. Colours range from light to dark. Abbeyhorn was established as a family business in 1749 and has been passed through the family for generations.
