The Hearach

This is the historic first single malt whisky from The Isle of Harris Distillery.  This distillery boasts the softest water of any Scottish distillery & this is combined with malted barley & yeast to create a dram of balanced complexity & character.  The whisky has been matured in 3 distinctive casks; First-Fill Bourbon Barrels, Oloroso Spanish Oak Butts, Fino Spanish Oak Butts & is non-chill filtered.  No colour has been added to this single malt & every drop is created in the Outer Hebrides.

Flavours: Gentle peat smoke, toasted maltiness, homemade apple sauce, machair flowers, mixed spices, ginger, vanilla, honeycomb & clotted cream.
