Glen Scotia 18 Year Old Whisky

Glen Scotia 18 Year Old started it's maturation in refill bourbon barrels and refill American oak hogsheads before selecting the finest casks to vat them together before a 12 month finish in first fill oloroso casks. The oloroso finish brings perfumed floral notes which compliment the distillery character of fruit and hints of sea spray and spice. An exceptional whisky with a complex maritime character that embodies the true spirit of classic Campbeltown single malt. Non-chill filtered.

NOSE:

An elegant nose with crisp saltiness, perfumed floral notes, sweet honey and salted caramel.

TASTE:

An incredibly smooth and rich palate, with fruity flavours and thick sweet toffee. Expect notes of apricots, pineapple and plump sultana, with a gentle warming spice throughout.

FINISH:

Long and dry, with gentle warming spice.
