Bealach na Ba in Winter Mounted Print
Jack Marris moved to Applecross in 2012 after extensively travelling across Scotland in search of dramatic landscapes to photograph. He fell in love with the northwest Highlands, and Applecross embodied everything he was seeking for photographic inspiration, making it the perfect location to launch his professional photography career.
Most of the images Jack captures are meticulously planned to take advantage of seasonal light and weather & are often several years in the making. Many of his photographs require camping overnight on mountain summits and ridges, in all seasons, making careful planning an essential part of his creative process.
The Bealach na Ba is the winding single-track mountain pass to Applecross; it has the greatest ascent of any road in the UK and is the third-highest road in Scotland. From the top, you can experience terrific views across much of Wester Ross, the Isle of Skye, the Islands of Rum, and the Outer Hebrides. This snowy shot of the Bealach na Ba is perfect for cooler-toned rooms or spaces needing a true feature.
Dimensions approx (in mount) : Length 24cm x Height 21cm
The print comes with wall fixings so it can be hung on a wall without the need for a frame & is wrapped in protective cellophane.
All prints are professionally mounted in-house at Jack's gallery with care & attention to detail.
